Greetings and salutations everyone, I’m Stephen Hartman, (HartmanArts). I am a digital artist who loves all things artsy and nerdy. I am a major fan of anything Doctor Who, Megaman, Pacman, and any retro video game or cartoon. My artistic goal is to make people smile and laugh. Life is too short, I believe we all need to enjoy life and make the most of it.
Finished, “The Brute and The Groot. A Dr. Suess style design based off of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie. I really enjoyed creating this design. The Dr. Suess style is strangely simple and complicated.
Recently finished this illustration of one of my friends. I was practicing some character building techniques that I’ve learned from my most recant art book. It’s nothing big, but it was fun so i thought I would share it.
With the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie I decided to create a design for it, but I thought it would be fun to create the design in a Dr. Suess style. Here is the line work for, “The Brute and the Groot.” :)
I’m working on a new illustration. This time it’s Black Widow. I currently have the sketch stage finished. I still might tweak it a little, but here is what I got so far. I have her hanging upside down because I wanted a deadly spider like feel to her character, sense she is called Black Widow.
Exciting news everyone. If you liked my “Legend of Zim” design it is going to be for sale on riptappearl.com on June 22. Prints, t-shirts, laptop covers, and more. I hope you check it out and thank you for all the support for this design already. :)
I introduce to you Tosche Station. Now you can get all the power converters you want. :) My goal for this design was to make it seem like a 1950’s, 1960’s tin sign. I really enjoyed working and figuring the grunge like texture.
